Software Developer

Criteria:
  • Master’s degree (two years) in Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Engineering (Second Division) or Bachelor’s degree (four years) in Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Engineering (Second Division) from a university recognized Software 102 by Higher Education Commission.
  • Two Years Post-Qualification experience in public/ private sector organization in the following areas:
  • Angular 2+ with Typescript,
  • MVC.Net, ASP.
  • Net Core/C# 0 SQL store procedure, Functions & Triggers.
  • EF & EF Core.

Mobile Application Developer

Criteria:
  • Master’s degree (two years) in Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Engineering (Second Division) or Bachelor’s degree (four years.) Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Engineering (Second Division) from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.
  • Two Years Post-Qualification experience in public/ private sector organization in the following areas:
  • Android Development using JAVA/Kotlin Mobile
  • Android Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Mobile UI Design, Development Patterns.
  • MVP, MVVM, and Android Architecture components
  • Application Publishing on Play Store.
  • Mobile Application Alpha and Beta Testing.
  • Mobile Application Integration using Web Services and SDKs. Firebase Integrations
  • Web Services (SOAP, Restful APIs)
  • Code versioning using GitHub.

Terms & Conditions:

  • The above positions are being offered on a Contract basis under the Recruitment Policy 2022 of the Government of Punjab.
  • General age relaxation in upper age limit for Male candidate = 5 years, for Female candidates = 8 years & special/disabled person = 15 years.
  • Transgender are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates having a domicile in Punjab shall only be eligible to apply.
  • These vacancies are post-specific and non-transferable.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for the test/interview.
  • Candidates already working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies should apply through the proper channel.
  • Submission of fake documents or concealment of any fact will lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
  • Only the degree issued by the university/institute recognized by the HEC or a reputed foreign university with HEC equivalence will be considered.
  • Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview.
  • The date & time of the interview will be communicated through email/call/SMS by the department.
  • Complete Original documents along with a set of attested photocopies will be provided at the time of the interview.

  • Candidates shall apply online by visiting the National Testing Service website.
  • Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date or closing of office hours on the last date for submission of applications will not be entertained.
  • Application completed in all respect should reach NTS by 16 October 2022.
  • The date of the written test/skill test shall be communicated to the eligible/shortlisted candidates only through NTS.
  • Candidates shall have at least 50% marks in the NTS test to qualify.
  • In case of a large number of candidates Qualifying for the NTS test, Appointing Authority reserves the right to decide upon any threshold mark ratio of candidates.
