Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, butterflied into 2 or 3 pieces
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as basil, oregano, thyme)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions:

Prepare the Chicken:
Butterfly each chicken breast into 2 or 3 pieces, depending on the size.
Place the chicken between plastic wrap and gently pound them to an even thickness.
Season both sides with garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
Coat with Parmesan:
Coat one side of each chicken piece with grated Parmesan cheese, pressing it onto the chicken to adhere.
Cooking:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the chicken in the skillet, Parmesan side down, and cook until it forms a golden crust (approximately 3-4 minutes).
Flip the chicken, reduce the heat to medium, and add butter to the skillet.
Continue cooking until the chicken is cooked through, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serve:
Transfer the chicken to a plate, allowing it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
