Homemade vegan buttercream

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted vegan butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1-2 tablespoons vegan cream or coconut cream (for desired consistency)
A pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions:

Add softened vegan butter and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl.
Use an electric mixer on medium speed to cream the vegan butter and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
Gradually add granulated sugar to the mixture. Start with a smaller amount, then taste and adjust to your desired sweetness level.
Add a pinch of salt if you want. Salt can enhance the flavor of buttercream and balance the sweetness.
Slowly add cream or coconut cream to the mixture little by little until you achieve your preferred consistency. Cream helps make vegan buttercream smoother and more spreadable.
Keep mixing the buttercream on medium-high speed until it is light, creamy and well combined.
Taste the buttercream and adjust the sweetness or flavors as needed.
