Air Fryer Ribeye Steak

Air Fryer Ribeye Steak:

Ingredients:

2 Ribeye steaks
2 teaspoons kosher coarse salt
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic powder, garlic salt, onion powder, turmeric, paprika, chili powder, and black pepper. This will be your seasoning blend.

Place the Ribeye steaks in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly on both sides of the steaks, ensuring they are generously coated. Let them rest for about 40 minutes. This allows the seasoning to infuse into the meat and helps tenderize it.

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

After the steaks have marinated, place them in the preheated air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd the basket; you may need to cook them one at a time if your air fryer is small.

Cook the steaks in the air fryer for the following times based on your desired doneness:

8-10 minutes for medium-rare
12-14 minutes for medium
15-18 minutes for well-done
Halfway through the cooking time, flip the steaks to ensure even cooking.

Once your steaks are cooked to your preferred doneness, carefully remove them from the air fryer. Let them rest for a few minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute.
